As I lay wide awake here in China at 4AM here were some of my thoughts...Is Faith going to be "healthy"? Has Faith ever been loved on? Is my heart going to be able to hold all the love I have now for my husband AND my four children? Is Shelby going to think she has been replaced? Will Caleb and Travis feel "left out" now that the girls will need my attention even more? Am I strong enough to do this? Does God really think I can handle this? Does Faith even know what real food is? Will she just still be only taking a baby bottle? Is that really healthy? Will I know how to comfort her (and Shelby) at the same time? Will Shelby like Faith at all? Will they grow up to be great sisters? Will Travis be good with Faith and have better luck with her than he did with Shelby? I wonder if I can just ask Lucy's to make me some Mexican food? How much money have we really spent to get us here? Will we be a great family of 6? Does Faith have any idea that her entire world is about to change? Is Faith going to be loved on her last day at the orphanage?
Another Recovery Update

I am on the recovery struggle bus - still.
I might not be in a boot anymore, but I am still not even close to where I
want to be in the healing departmen...

You KNOW the answers. You know you do.
Enjoyed tagging along to see Snow White at Disney and especialy your reflections on everything being blended and "right".
Good luck with your last sleep ;)
thinking of you from atlanta...
13560415351 is Ann's Phone Number. She wanted you to call her when you get in.

Well, what a deep subject. So many questions and so little time for the answers. No, you are not going to get me to answer these. I won't be lured into 20 questions with the research queen.
I will tell you that you are a remarkable woman who sets a fine example for your children. CJ is a great Dad whose quiet strength is a great source of support and a perfect example for you children.
God will reveal the answers to you in time. We are privileged to count your family as close friends.
Let the questions be for now. The worries are normal and so are the questions, but focus on the path that has God has placed before you. You are about to turn her world upside down and to permanently alter yours. These are good things for all of you.

I believe your little Wuchuan Wonder will be a delight! She will bless your family in ways you never dreamed possible. When you meet up with the nannies, please tell them the other parents all say hello & send our love.
Make sure you take her to visit Dong & Susan at Susan's Place ASAP. They are from Wuchuan and love to meet their "little sisters". Dong was a tremendous help to us when we adopted Elliana.
Elliana is a handful, but I wish everyone in the world could experience as much love and trust as she gives!
Sending you a Big Hug! Love Nana
You know that we ALL think these same thoughts at such a critical time; you just had the guts to admit it and write it down -- thank you. I have already felt so many of the same things; I'm sure they will flood my brain at 4 AM a few weeks from now! You will be fine - and so will EVERYONE! How exciting! Just think, we will never be bored (at least not for a LONG time!).
Sending our Love!! Shelby and Faith will be great and close just as you and Sheila. I know I haven't commented but I have been checking in and we all are so excited for you guys! Can't wait till you have you baby girl in your arms!! Love Ya All! Rhonda
A) I have no answers but I can pray for you
B) AO pics will be up tomorrow.
C) Ditto what Michael said but you are also a great example to all of us back home
Deep breath!! Didn't Sheila bring something for that? HaHa You know more than most parents having their first who come home from the hospital. Think of them! How you felt then. You are much better prepared for Faith than the average Joe. I also have to agree with Michael when the term "research queen" was used! So if you are finished with whatever that was, go get her and sent us lots of pictures! We love all of you and are still praying for you! God is good, all the time. All the time, God is Good! Chris
Oh Donna~big hugs to you. And...what Michael said was perfect.
Donna, All your thoughts are so normal and this will not be the last time you find yourself coming back to these thoughts. You are listening to your Father's call to care for the orphaned. While this is the gift He has blessed you with, it doesn't mean it always comes easy. But it is with our faith and our obedience in answering to His call that we know we can go through the waters. I know I have been very concerned about Bryson's delays and the regression of our other daughter, but I surrendered all over to God last night and today was a much better day!
Have peace my sister in Christ.

Donna-
I bet you had some of these same fears when before you had your first child. I know I did. It is OK to question. God has placed you in this time and place with all that you need to handle addding Fiath to your faith. YOur love won't run out!
Yeah, I had those same thoughts in the hours before meeting Ella for the first time. I even had a quick half moment of doubt several days after we received her, but those doubts were quickly replaced with a supernatural peace. Ella was meant to be in our family and we were created to parent and love her.
You're so close to your Faith now. Just cannot wait to see that sweet child in your arms!

Hi DOnna,
I love following your blog for many reasons..the biggest one being able to witness the hand of God in your life and that of your family. He will provide for you, He already has. I will continue to pray for you and your family...all 6 of you!
Love,
Aisha
