Various pics for your viewing pleasure. We visited the park that is mainly full of exercise equipment for adults. Sheila was loving that and I think she tried out every piece. At one point she had the whole neighborhood stopping to watch her-scary! Not very many blonde women who really "get into" the exercise routines around here. Obviously it is fun to watch ;)
Oh and we found the relatives of some friends from church that are here. I knew they would be in China at the same time, but who would have known we would share the same guide and stay at the same hotel?! Jophy has officially retired from the adoption guide services and she has turned us over to our new guide, Grace. Grace will be with us the rest of the trip.
Enjoy the pics! Oh and so far Shelby is still enjoying her new sister. She takes good care of her and kisses her all the time :)
Another Recovery Update
-
I am on the recovery struggle bus - still.
I might not be in a boot anymore, but I am still not even close to where I
want to be in the healing departmen...

Have you all counted these kids? You know, it looks like you have 4 of them -- 4 kids!!!! For some reason, that number seems to be a lot to take in these days! Oh my!! The pic on the steps looks like a Christmas card!
just a little side note -- it appears that the orphanage 'donation' increase will be effective across the board on Jan 1. So, good news for you, but not likely so great for me! Just a little update! Also, they are changing to to an RBM amount instead of a US$ amount since the dollar is not doing so well!
Glad things are going so well. I LOVE the picture of the kids outside - looks like a wonderful and happy family. Saying prayers daily for a safe trip home. XOXOX
Dear Straight Family,
I grew up in a family of four too. It is a great deal of fun and never, never, never boring. You learn patience, love, understanding, forgiveness, sacrifice, sharing, faith, tenderness, laughter, hilarity, and you learn life ain't fair but it sure is good. Your family has taken one further step to share your lives with us, your deeply committed friends. Today, I thank you and Bless you all for this wonderful Christmas gift you have given us all. My mom always told me I was the easiest youngest child, and she told my brother he was the easiest oldest child, and she told my sister she was the easiest oldest daughter, and she told my other sister she was the easiest middle daughter. We did not catch on for awhile the last part and would run around saying we go with the flow and are easy on our mom. Just a little fun and you are bringing back all the memories.

oh and you are all cute-
Donna: Hey! I want to know about bonding and who is doing best and how Shelby is reacting and about her likes and dislikes and how I see London I see France, I see Travis' underpants. he hee
Looks like Sheila is not the only one drawing attention, Travis is doing ok himself. Faith is adorable. Sucking her fingers just like you, too cute. Getting the walker probably good Do you think you'll have her walking by the time you get home? I remember how Sheila enjoyed you Donna until you got into her stuff. Nana
Faith is so beautiful...those cheeks remind me of Anna Ward. so thankful that Shelby is doing well..we will keep praying that she does. love to you all.
We were thrilled to see Faith (AND THE WHOLE FAMILY)smiling so sweetly and enjoying her new FOREVER family! Can't wait to see her in person. Continue to enjoy your trip and have fun. Miss you all!
