Sweetest sound on earth!

We can't believe we already received the first smiles and giggles! She did sleep a few hours in between some crying episodes and woke up this morning ready to play a little with the boys. We are truly in love and amazed that God would grant us such an awesome gift!

PS: I was wrong about her clothes (in case Nana was out shopping). She is wearing the 18-24 month clothes I brought.

How great it is to not only see pictures of all of you but to hear her laughing - there aren't words to explain the feelings !! How did people have family members go to China before the Internet and blogs?

Can't wait till you are all home!

what a wonderful sound, it's music!!! She is absolutely beautiful. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all on this roller coaster ride. Just know that once you get to Guangzhou shelby will be a different kid, so relaxed and ready to be part of your family. The grieving will not be gone but there is just something magical about the transtion. Our love to all of you!

Congratulations,
I would incourage you to go and meet the foster mother. You may be surprised in my friends case the whole foster family showed up at Yongning when we visited after reciving our daughters Feb 21 2005.(my daughter was only in Yongning)
Most of the girls went to nannies/aynas and foster famliy members and yet came back to us without much if any hesitation. Shelby may suprise you these.
I wish you a very pleasant journey what ever you decide.
