Donna reports that Shelby is recovering well from surgery, but is not too happy! She says that Shelby did fine through the surgery.

Dear Straigts-
Oh, how we have been praying for you and sweet Shelby. The Lord woke me up early yesterday morning to begin praying. I wish I had a picture of the Miller children holding hands around the table asking Jesus to take care of Shelby. I loved peeking at Sarah Beth during it, she loves to hold hands and close her eyes(her way to pray). Give us the DETAILS, like I have to ask! As you know ours is the 17th. We have all her pre-op appts this Friday. Love those doctor visits!
I know what you mean about Shelby's cleft. I feel in many ways the same about SB's. It was what drew me to her and at the same time probably one of the reasons her Mama felt she couldn't keep her. It is BECAUSE of that cleft, she is ours! Can't wait to follow up!
