Just a quick blog entry today to wish everyone a Happy Independence Day! We started the holiday off last night with Caleb clogging as the pre-show for the Kennesaw Fireworks. There were A LOT of people there and Caleb was tired after clogging so we did not stay for the fireworks. We went ahead and left early so we could get some rest for today. Today was Caleb's big parade debut in the Marietta Parade through the square. Fortunately it wasn't too hot today, so it turned out to be perfect parade weather. Our friends Ethan, Amy, and Daniel even braved the traffic and came out to watch the parade with us. Well I say "us", but it turned out that I had to walk in the parade too! I walked beside their float to make sure all the kids did what they were supposed to do. The float was constantly moving so we had to make sure the kids were off and on safely to do their performances. CJ said the parade was "a good one". We were on television all of about 10 seconds according to mom and dad ;) Hey at least we made it on the big screen! I will update tomorrow with some parade pics. Here is a shot of my patriotic dad and Caleb to hold you over...
Another Recovery Update
-
I am on the recovery struggle bus - still.
I might not be in a boot anymore, but I am still not even close to where I
want to be in the healing departmen...
