Made It To Guangzhou

We had a very LONG day yesterday, but in the end we made it to Guangzhou to our little run down piece of hotel. LOL- just kidding, this new hotel is swank! I have included some pictures of our new room. We are not staying on the island this trip since we are with a group for this last week. So far we have 3 families with us, but tomorrow there will be 5 families in our travel group here with BAAS. This is the first time for us to travel on a bus in a group, but so far so good.

The flight yesterday was only 1.5 hours, yet the kids seemed to be quite restless the whole time. I am hoping that is not a sign of things to come on our long trip home. Oh well doesn't really matter, as we are coming home one way or the other ;) Anyhow, we went to the medical appointment this morning on the island. They said she weighs in at 20 pounds, and that heart heart sound very clear-good news!!

We are taking a taxi back the island tonight to meet up with some others at Lucy's for dinner at 6pm. It should be fun to check out the island since they did some renovations. We had lunch today at Subway. The area here around the Garden Hotel is very upscale and expensive area. There are all kinds and colors of people here in the hotel and around the area. Very different from Nanchang for sure, but we are just taking it all in one day at a time.

Glad to see you in GZ. Just a week and then you're HOME! Did they look at Elise's bum and/or have any suggestions? Yeah, I know, a long shot LOL Have a great weekend. Hugs and Kisses.

Glad you made it safely; the hotel looks great! Good to know. I'm looking into alternatives to the White Swan for our trip. Congratulations on the good medical, though she doesn't look too thrilled by it!
