Surgery

I found out that Ian was scheduled to have hernia surgery today in China.  He will be in the hospital for about one week.  SO very hard to know that your chid will probably be alone in the hospital without anyone to comfort him :(

Praying that everything goes well, and that he recovers quickly.  I hope to hear how the surgery went by the end of the week.  Unfortunately, I will just have to sit and wait until I hear from someone in China.  I truly hope that they manage his pain and keep him as comfortable as possible.  I did find out that yesterday Ian was scared about the surgery (what 8 year old wouldn't be). 

I hope to hear soon, and more than that, I pray he is OK and back to his smiling self soon!
