I visited Sonia's blog today to see some truths being revealed about real.life.adoption. Thought I would link a few of the blogs that commented on her post today. Adoption is hard folks.
I don't sugar coat any of my posts here, but I don't always post about the bad days either. God called us down this path, He didn't promise us it would be easy. He did promise He would lead us through it though. Hanging on to that fact, that I am not alone in this journey of life.
Take some time today to read a few of these posts. I think it will give you a bit of insight into my life as well as others who have accepted the call of adoption.

Thanks so much for sharing my link and other posts of honesty here. There is such a fine line between being vulnerably honest and divulging too much information, isn't there? I do think it's important for those entering the process to be fully aware of the ashes from which the beauty comes.
Donna,
Thanks for sharing the link to my blog too. It is so important to go into adoption with our eyes wide open. And we can read the books... but living it is a whole different ball game. I pray for those currently living under the "black cloud" and want them all to know that they are not alone and hang in there it really will be OK. I pray for those waiting parents who eventually meet the black cloud... that they might remember the posts you shared here and use them as a starting point to find support in the middle of it.
(((hugs))),
chris
P.S. Your family is beautiful! So glad I found your blog!
