One more approval closer to Ian today. I called the NBC and they officially approved our I-800 this morning. Now his paperwork will be mailed to the National Visa Center where the US will give the final approval to allow Ian into the United States-woohoo!!
So what does all this gibberish really mean? That I am still on track to board an airplane on April 27th!

Congratulations on your approval. And as I was skimming through your blog, I saw that our daughters are from Wuchuan! We adopted Joy in 2007 when she was 15 months old. I don't hear of many adoptions from that orphanage, and would love to hear your thoughts or experiences.
